Welcome to Race German Version 2.0! Ever since I started Race German almost 3 years ago, I had this vision. When I launched in 2016, I reached out to what I felt was the best aftermarket BMW companies in the industry and asked if they would help me with my vision. Like most of you, I like to wear tshirts of companies I support with my cars. If it’s a Condor Speed Shop shirt for their magnificent solid bushings, or a Motorsport Hardware tee for their superior, track proven wheel studs, these automotive shirts were what I preferred to wear. I wanted to offer a single website on the internet you could purchase multiple brands apparel in one place with one shipping.
I think with the age of the internet and everyone thinking they can make a business out of everything, it is easy for someone to drop ship a product and call it a business or customer service. If you aren’t familiar with this term, I am sure you have been a victim of it. Drop shipping is where you advertise a product, have someone purchase it from your website, and then the owner contacts the manufacturer of the product, and has them ship the product out to you (in usually a very timely manner). This is usually done if the company does not have the capital to stock the part or does not have the space to store it. The downside of all this falls on you, the customer. By having products drop shipped, 90% of the time the business owner is not able to control shipping, quality, packaging, or time, not to mention returns are a hassle. I am sure we have all been there. You order a product from Business X and the box that comes in the mail comes from business Y. The most frustrating part is some very well-known companies drop ship, and tell you the product is in stock, and in reality it’s not. You may wait, one, two, three weeks to get your shipment.
I think this is unacceptable, and I set out to change this.
Over the last 10 years I have tried 100s and 100s of OEM and aftermarket parts for my BMWs. I have tested them on the street and beat them on the track. Because of this I have found, what I feel, is the best of the best products on the market currently and wanted to offer them to you. I wanted to create a new kind of automotive marketplace, where you could have confidence that what you were buying was quality, and not good marketing.
Over the last 3 years I have been building relationships with the OEM and aftermarket companies and explained to them I wanted to offer a service as such. Unlike most wholesalers that will offer every product a company makes just to get a sale, I am only offering what I feel is the best product on the market. I hand selected only the best products from today's top OEM and aftermarket companies. On top of this, I am stocking 99% of every product sold on racegerman.com. By doing this, I can control, quality, packaging, and most importantly turn around on shipping the same or next day. I hate waiting for car parts, and I assume you do as well.
I stand behind every product sold at Race German, and if you are not completely satisfied, you can return it, and leave me feedback. This site isn’t stagnant. This site will continue to grow and evolve as new products continue to hit the market. If someone develops a new part that works better than something I am offering, I will change it. I have no desire to offer sub par products to get your sale. I want to be as transparent and honest as I can with my customers to give you the most confidence.
